West Warwick Area Happenings -- December Edition
Today the Greenwich Place Blog has rounded up a variety of activities members of our apartment community may want to attend this December. Take time out this month to enjoy some holiday activities in the greater West Warwick, RI area!
Dates: December 15, 2017 - 7 pm to 8:30 pm - Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts
From the website: “Providence Ballet Theatre's production of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas returns! Inspired by Clement Clarke Moore's classic poem, the stage is transformed with visions of Sugar Plums, swirling snow, and a magical appearance by jolly St. Nick! A cast of professional dancers and local children create a fun-filled holiday performance that is perfect for all ages!”
The venue for Twas the Night Before Christmas is about 28 minutes from Greenwich Place.
Dates: December 15 & 16, 2017 at 8 pm - The Arctic Playhouse
From the website: “Deck the halls with Striving Artists as they share stories and songs filled with musing holiday topics. Striving Artists’ holiday celebration is sure to make you laugh, cry, and give you the warm fuzzy feelings everyone deserves throughout the year.”
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The Arctic Playhouse is about 10 minutes from Greenwich Place.
December 1, 2, 7, 8, & 9 at 8 pm; December 3 & 10 at 2 pm - Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts
From the website: “The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials for fruitcake (extra-fancy), and the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring. A handful of actors bring dozens of characters to the stage, as the familiar story unfolds: Three ghosts take Ebenezer Scrooge on a thrilling journey to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. A charming take on a family favorite that will leave no one saying Bah Humbug!”
The price for admission is $13 online and $18 at the door. A Christmas Carol – A Live Radio Play is about a 10 minute drive from Greenwich Place.
December 20, 2017 - Veterans Memorial Auditorium

The venue for the Christmas Celtic Sojourn is about a 20 minute drive from Greenwich Place.
